Founded in 1958, Sifco is one of the main producers of forged and machined parts for the automotive industry primarily intended for truck and bus manufacture. Its main products are forged and machined parts used in the front suspensions of buses and trucks, transmission components for trucks, buses, light commercial vehicles, cars and tractors, and engine components for the automotive industry.
With a total area of 136,984 m² and buildings covering 59,432 m² this unit is responsible for producing light and medium forged items and is equipped with 5,000 to 16,000 pound hammers, 5″, 6″ and 7 1/2″ punching machines and 600 to 4000 ton presses. Mold & die, sets of machine are also in this unit as well as dynamic metallographic and chemical testing laboratories.
There is also a unit in Campinas - SP. With total area of 91,808 m and buildings covering 10,902 m, this unit is responsible for producing the line of heavy forged products and is equipped with a 40 tm Beche hammer, a 6,300 ton press and a 32 tm Digep hammer and its headquarter is located in São Paulo.
Concern for Environmental Quality is highlighted throughout the history of the Company. It is ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949 and also ISO 14001 certified, always keeping one step ahead of its market needs

From 2001 on, with the official implementation of the Environmental Management System, an appropriate management strategy of our environmental performance was established, aiming for rational use of natural resources, the prevention of pollution and conformance to environmental standards and legislation.
